\Many conditions produce itching. Diagnosis is our first step – this requires history and physical examination. Depending on possibilities we might perform painless cultures or allergy tests (our “patch tests” for contact allergies do NOT involve needles and have been done successfully for even 4 year olds with eczema with useful results!)
Treatment also varies and can be over -the-counter or prescription. We may recommend special light treatments for difficult cases.
